What cookies this site sets

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Until you accept analytics cookies, this website stores nothing on your device at all. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and this page will be updated if that changes.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary. These cookies are required for the site to function - for example, remembering session state and security tokens while you are signed in to the application. They cannot be switched off, because the site cannot work without them, and they do not require consent.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate - which pages are read, and roughly how visitors arrive. It is off until you accept it: Google Consent Mode runs with analytics_storage denied by default, which means no analytics cookie is written and only an anonymous, cookieless signal is sent. Accepting sets these cookies:

Cookie Purpose Expires
_ga Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not double-counted 2 years
_ga_R5LMMXXHSE Keeps GA4 session state for this property 2 years

IP addresses are anonymised, no advertising or personalisation signals are enabled, and no individual browsing profile is built from this data.

What we don’t use

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind. Nothing on this site follows you to other websites for marketing purposes.

How to change your browser settings

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, particularly the signed-in application, from working correctly.
