Account warm-up
Increasing a LinkedIn account’s outreach activity gradually over a period, typically two weeks, rather than starting at full volume. Applies to new accounts and to dormant ones being restarted.
The pattern warm-up exists to avoid is a sudden change in character: an account doing twelve actions a week for a year and four hundred on a Tuesday. That change is recognisable without any need to identify the tool causing it.
Dormant accounts need it as much as new ones. A five-year-old account with 3,000 connections that has been idle for eighteen months behaves, from a detection standpoint, like a new one.
Warm-up changes the rhythm of activity and nothing about who is being contacted. It is necessary and not sufficient.
