Lead enrichment
Also called data enrichment
Adding missing detail to a prospect record - role, seniority, company size, industry, location, technology, contact details - so it can be scored and acted on rather than just stored.
Enrichment is usually sold as a completeness exercise. It is more usefully thought of as the step that makes scoring possible: a model cannot weight company size if company size is blank on two-thirds of the rows.
Completeness is itself a scoring factor in some markets. In healthcare, where gatekeeping is heavy, a record with only a generic inbox is often not a weaker prospect but an unreachable one.
