Acceptance rate
The share of sent LinkedIn connection requests that are accepted. The most useful single measure of whether outbound targeting is working, and the one LinkedIn itself watches most closely.
Sent volume is an input; acceptance rate is a result. A team optimising the first without watching the second usually makes both worse, because falling acceptance reduces account standing, which reduces the effective limit.
Below roughly 30%, the useful response is to stop and fix targeting rather than to send more. The problem at that point is who is being contacted, and no amount of pacing fixes a targeting problem.
